November 06, (THEWILL) – The candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the February 25 presidential election, Peter Obi, will address the press on Monday, November 6.
Obi is scheduled to speak with newsmen at 2 p.m. in his campaign headquarters.
The Press conference is coming on the heels of the Supreme Court judgement, which on Thursday, October 26, dismissed the two appeals filed separately by Peter Obi and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Obi has yet to speak on the apex court’s judgement since Thursday, but the Labour Party had urged its members and supporters to remain firm with the Party for a better opposition engagement that will bring the rebirth of Nigeria.
National Chairman of the Party, Julius Abure, who spoke at a Media briefing in Abuja on the outcome of the Supreme Court judgement, assured of strong opposition.
The opposition Party had also promised to move on and remain optimistic about a new Nigeria.
