BEVERLY HILLS, September 09, (THEWILL) – Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has fired four Commissioners from the state cabinet.
The commissioners are Chief Lucky James (Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs), Mrs. Maigida Blessing (Women Affairs), Mr. Patrick Aguinede (Basic Education) and Mr. Chris Ebare (Energy and Water Resources).
A Wednesday statement by Mr. Kassim Afegbua, the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, which announced their sack, was however silent on why the governor moved against the appointees.
The statement further directed them to handover all government property in their possession to the Permanent Secretaries in their respective ministries whilst thanking them for their service.
