Unlike awards determined solely by industry panels or organisational assessments, the CVA recognitions are based on a consumer voting process.

According to the organisers, consumers first nominate brands they believe have delivered value, after which shortlisted brands proceed to a public voting exercise.

The brand with the highest number of valid votes in each category is declared the winner.

The results therefore give an indication of consumer sentiment towards the competing fintech brands, particularly in a financial services market where payments, transfers and other digital services have become increasingly embedded in everyday transactions.
