Ondo Varsity Postpones Examination After Fatal Truck Accident

BEVERLY HILLS, January 24, (THEWILL) – Due to incessant accidents at the main gate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, (AAUA), the Management has postponed the examination scheduled to begin on January 25 and ordered that the main gate be shut indefinitely.

This was stated by the University acting Registrar, Opeoluwa Akinfemiwa in a statement on Saturday night after a truck accident at the varsity Main gate claimed eight lives.

According to the management, shutting the school main gate indefinitely is to guide against incessant accidents. While noting it’s great shock over the incident, the management said the decision is a temporary measure.

The management has therefore directed staff and students to make use of the Sports Center gate, Guest House gate and Eastern gate
