Obaseki Removes Ogbemudia’s Daughter As LGA Chairman

BEVERLY HILLS, October 11, (THEWILL) – Governor Godwin Obaseki has suspended Eghe Ogbemudia, the Chairman of Egor Local Government Area, from office following alleged complaints of graft against her by councilors in her district.

Eghe, the daughter of the late Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia, a former military governor of Bendel State, is the fourth council chairman to be suspended within the past three months by the governor.

Chairmen of Esan West local government area, Hon Patrick Aguinede, Alhaji Yakson Musa in Etsako West and Alhaji Aremiyau Momoh of Etsako East respectively had been suspended over similar allegations.
