Obaseki Redeploys Lawani As Commissioner For Special Duties

November 30, (THEWILL) – As part of the restructuring of the State Executive Council for greater efficiency, Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, has approved the redeployment of Engr Jonathan Lawani, as Commissioner for Special Duties with immediate effect.

In a statement, Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie (Esq), noted that Engr. Osasere Evboumwan, the former Commissioner for Special Duties, has been moved to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainability.

He noted that the move is in line with the Governor’s resolve to improve efficiency in public service and optimise capacities to deliver optimal results in the service of Edo people.

“The Governor wishes the commissioners the best in their new assignments”, Ogie added.
