Nollywood Actor-Director, Abiodun Aleja, Dies

BEVERLY HILLS, May 22, (THEWILL) – Nigerian actor and Nollywood director, Abiodun Aleja, is dead.

Aleja died in Lagos on Friday.

According to the Chairman of the Lagos chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANATAP), Makinde Adeniran, the wife announced the news of the death of her husband.

It was gathered that the filmmaker reportedly went into a coma but was revived at the hospital. He died while recuperating.

He worked on several projects alongside colleagues Tunde Kelani and Kunle Afolayan.

He would be remembered for his role in Afolayan’s “October 1” blockbuster.
