#NigeriaDecides2023: Delta PDP Guber Candidate Loses Polling Unit To Obi

February 25, (THEWILL) – The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the March 11 elections in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has lost his polling unit to Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), in Saturday’s presidential elections.

THEWILL reports that Oborevwori voted in polling unit 33, Oha Ward 1, in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta state.

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly is the anointed candidate of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, who is the vice-presidential candidate of the PDP.

According to the results of the election, Oborevwori lost his polling unit as the PDP only secured 16 votes, while the LP polled 126 votes and the APC had no vote.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi won the presidential election in his polling unit in Anambra State.

THEWILL earlier reported that Obi voted in his polling unit 19 in Agulu 2 ward of Anaocha LGA of Anambra.

The LP polled 236 votes to defeat the PDP and APC, which both got zero vote in Saturday’s Presidential Election in the polling unit.

However, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) got three votes, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) secured two votes

Seven votes were declared invalid.
