March 18, (THEWILL) – Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested four party agents in the Ibara Housing estate area of Ogun state, with hundreds of credit cards, allegedly intended for vote buying.
The agency, in a statement on Saturday, said its Chairman, Buba Marwa, has directed that the suspects be handed over to the police after proper documentation.
“Operatives of NDLEA on election duty stop and search, just intercepted four party agents with hundreds of money credit cards, to buy votes at Ibara housing estate, Ogun state.
“Each card contains 10k and activated to cash with a code.
“The Chairman, NDLEA, Brig-Gen Buba Marwa, has directed they be handed over to the police after proper documentation”, the statement read.
