BEVERLY HILLS, August 01, (THEWILL) – Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli president, has disclosed that Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, cost the club 80 million Euros to snap him from Lille FC of France. He is also expected to earn about 4.5 million euros annually.
“Lille will receive about 80 million while the player in the various years between 4 and 4.5 million per season,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
The Serie A side had announced the signing of the Nigerian striker from Ligue 1 on Friday after he signed a five-year deal with the club.
De Laurentiis also disclosed that that credit must go to the manager of the club, Gennaro Gattuso, for his role in the transfer.
“He (Gattuso) cared a lot about buying Victor Osimhen, … the boy changed the agents in the race.”
