NAFDAC Seals Jenny’s Glow Office In Abuja

August 26, (THEWILL) – The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has sealed Igbinoba Jennifer’s office, Jenny’s Glow in Abuja.

In a video that surfaced online, officials of the agency were allegedly sealing the office because her range of skincare products are allegedly not registered with the Agency.

It was alleged that she was using a fake NAFDAC registration number to sell her products.

This development is coming a few weeks after the beauty entrepreneur had an altercation with one of her clients, who called her out on social media for allegedly selling fake products that damaged her skin.

A lady, Amaka Duru, also known as Amaka Gurl, took to TikTok to call Igbinoba out. She made a video and accused the entrepreneur of selling fake products.

Amaka was allegedly whisked away by policemen from her parent’s house because she called the entrepreneur out.

Igbinoba was later called out by Amaka’s sister for allegedly arresting her sister. She laid curses on the entrepreneur and warned her that nothing must happen to her sister.

More users of Jenny Glow’s products took to the comment section to call her out for selling fake products to them.

A few weeks after the drama, officials of the Agency stormed Jenny’s Glow office to allegedly seal it.

Reacting to the news, Igbinoba took to Instagram to post her NAFDAC registration certificate and to state her facts.

She revealed that her office was not sealed but some of her products were put on hold pending their approval.

She added that some of her products have been approved for years now and reiterated that her products are safe for use.

Igbinoba also made it known that enemies of the brand are behind the news but she will overcome them.

“The Abuja store was not sealed. It’s just some of the products that were put on hold on the shelves, pending their approval.

“Some of our products, including, Whitening lotion, French scrub, black soap, have already been approved for years now.

“These other products are pending for approval. It takes time but we are still working with NAFDAC on their approvals.

“We shall overcome. Thanks for your loyalty and support. Our products are safe, they took it to the lab and it came out great.

“The only thing remaining is to get all our certificates. Our products are safe for use.

“Obviously some enemies of the brand are sponsoring these guys on TikTok to defame us by paying blogs and posting false information,” she wrote.
