September 01, (THEWILL) – The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has descended on beauty care expert, Igbinoba Jennifer, once again and sealed her second office, Jenny’s Glow, in Lagos.
Officials of the agency allegedly visited her Lagos office to pack all her unregistered products and sealed the place.
The agency made the move in order to clamp down on unregistered products, which can be harmful to users, as they are not registered with the agency.
Igbinoba has only 7 registered products out of the 25 she has been parading.
This development is coming a few days after officials of the agency visited her Abuja office to confiscate some of her products and also to seal her office.
It was also alleged that she was using a fake NAFDAC registration number to sell her products.
Recall that the beauty entrepreneur had an altercation with one of her clients, Amaka Duru, who called her out on social media for allegedly selling fake products that damaged her skin.
Duru’s sister also called out Igbinoba for arresting her sister. A few weeks after the drama, officials of the agency stormed Jenny’s Glow office in Abuja to seal it.
After her Abuja office was sealed, Igbinoba posted her NAFDAC registration certificate and stated her facts.
She revealed that her office was not sealed, but that some of her products were put on hold pending their approval.
