BEVERLY HILLS, June 30, (THEWILL) – Not less than 50 operatives of the Nigerian Army, Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have been found guarding the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Gusape, Abuja.
According to PUNCH, the security agents have their patrol vehicles parked on either side of the road at the Nasir El-Rufai crescent where the church is located.
While the presence of security operatives surrounding the church is not unusual, protesters carrying placards were seen around the church.
This may not be unconnected with the allegation of defilement leveled against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, a Senior Pastor of COZA by Busola Dakolo, wife of singer, Timi Dakolo.
The clergyman has since denied the allegations.
Meanwhile, Fatoyinbo arrived behind schedule, by one hour on Sunday.
His wife, Omodele Fatoyinbo led prayer session before his arrival, praying that may God deliver them from the ‘Pharaoh and Goliath’ of the world.
There were testimonies in the church despite ongoing protests outside the premises.
Seven women came out to lay give credence to the positive character of the pastor and God as they said they have enjoyed unprecedented financial success since joining the church.
