Made Kuti Gets Grammy Nominee Medal For His First Album ‘Legacy+’

October 26, (THEWILL) – Afro-beat singer, Made Kuti, has received his first Grammy certificate and medal in recognition of his nomination for Best Global Music Album at the 2022 award ceremony.

An excited Made announced this in an Instagram post on Wednesday, where he posted a video of himself and his girlfriend, Inedoye Onyenso, showing off the certificate and the medal.

“Look what I got for my first album. Thank you,” he captioned the post.

Fellow celebrities including his dad, Femi Kuti and aunty, Yeni, congratulated him in the comment section of the post.

The 26-year-old was nominated for Best Global Global Music Album for his debut album Legacy+, a collaboration with Femi Kuti.

They, however, lost to Beninese-American music icon Angelique Kidjo.

Femi Kuti also congratulated Kidjo on the feat.
