February 25, (THEWILL) – Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs has announced his intention to contest in the Rivers state governorship election in 2023.
THEWILL reports that the oil mogul made this known on Friday on arrival at Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa from Abuja.
He expressed optimism that he will win the contest because of his enormous good works in the state.
The business tycoon is the first person to publicly declare interest in succeeding incumbent Governor Nyesom Wike.
Dumo Lulu-Briggs is a lawyer and chairman of Platform Petroleum.
He is the son of late billionaire and founder of Moni Pulo Limited, O.B. Lulu-Briggs.
