November 12, (THEWILL) – Nigerian reality television star and businessman, Leo Babarinde Akinola Dasilva, has tied the knot with his partner, Maryam Laushi.
The traditional marriage took place on Saturday, November 12, in Kaduna State.
The couple got secretly engaged earlier this year.
“I am engaged. I did not make it public because I will announce it when I am married. I did not see the need to announce what had not been formalised in God’s presence yet,” Leo revealed earlier in the year.
During the interview, he revealed to prefer having kids within the context of marriage rather than a relationship, citing it as a personal choice. He emphasised the importance of settling down as one gets older. Reflecting on lessons from relationships, patience stands out as crucial, acknowledging the diverse backgrounds and emotional capacities of individuals involved.
After making waves in the third season of Big Brother Naija in 2018, Leo transitioned into public speaking and pastoring.
In 2022, he took the stage as one of the guest speakers at the NEC and President Bola Tinubu’s birthday summit. Leo continues to be a vocal advocate on various contemporary issues in the country.
