SAN FRANCISCO, October 18, (THEWILL) – The Deputy Governor of Kogi, Mr Simon Achuba, has been impeached by the state’s House of Assembly.
He was impeached Friday shortly after the House received and considered the report of a judicial panel of enquiry set up by the Kogi State Chief Judge Justice Nasir Ajanah.
House Leader, Hassan Bello Abdullahi, representing Ajaokuta state constituency, said the recommendations of the report indicting Achuba for gross misconduct was unanimously approved by the lawmakers.
