January 06, (THEWILL) – Renowned financial expert and public servant, Fuad Kayode-Laguda, has secured the All Progressives Congress’ nomination for the House of Representatives bye-election in Surulere 1 Constituency.
His victory came after the party’s primary election, which was held at Teslim Balogun Stadium, in Surulere, Lagos, on Saturday, where he emerged as the chosen candidate.
The bye-election, fixed for February 3, 2024, is meant to replace the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, who represented the constituency before President Bola Tinubu appointed him as his Chief of Staff.
