I’ve Been Battling Kidney Issues For 20 Years — Pupa Tee Reveals

November 14, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Adelaja David, also known as Pupa Tee, seeks financial assistance for a crucial kidney transplant.

Over the recent months, the singer, who initially pursued his music career during his undergraduate days at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has consistently appealed for financial aid through Instagram.

In one of the posts, Pupa Tee opened up about facing kidney problems spanning two decades. Recently embarking on dialysis treatment, he shed light on the challenges he’s been enduring. Stressing the urgency of the situation, he appealed for financial assistance, highlighting the crucial need for support to undergo a kidney transplant.

He said, “For the past 20 years, I have been having kidney issues and kidney complications and I have done different things to overcome this problem, but it persists.

“It recently got so bad that I needed to start dialysis. I have gone through a series of dialysis and I was told that I need to stay on dialysis to stay healthy.

“It was proposed that for me to have a permanent solution I need a kidney transplant.

“That is why I decided to make this video to call to the public and ask for help and another chance to live.”

Nigerian comedian, Koffi Idowu, has actively mobilised assistance for the ailing singer. Urging fans and colleagues, he appealed for a minimum N2,000 donation to contribute towards covering the singer’s medical bill, estimated at N15 million.
