June 25, (THEWILL) – Chelsea has informed winger, Hakim Ziyech, that he is free to leave the club this summer and already AC Milan have shown themselves to be one of the teams interested in signing him.

Ziyech moved to Stamford Bridge for about £33 million in the summer of 2020, but he has not been able to match the success he had with Ajax, which attracted the Blues to sign him. In 83 appearances since his arrival, he has managed just 14 goals and 10 assists.

Ousmane Dembele, Raheem Sterling, and Richarlison are among the attacking players that manager, Thomas Tuchel and owner, Todd Boehly, are looking into signing this summer. Chelsea have also spoken with the representatives of Ajax winger and Manchester United target Antony.

Chelsea have already agreed to loan Romelu Lukaku back to Inter, in order to make room for at least one new player, and the Blues are also willing to let Ziyech and Timo Werner go for the right price. Another player with an uncertain summer is Christian Pulisic.

Representatives of Ziyech have been looking into options for the Moroccan’s exit, and Milan is one of the parties that has expressed interest in reaching an agreement. But, Jose Mourinho’s Roma are also interested, along with Sevilla, Lyon, and Marseille.
