March 19,(THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared incumbent Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazak, candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), as the winner of the March 18th gubernatorial election in Kwara State.
The Kwara State Returning Officer (RO) and Vice Chancellor of the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Professor Issac Itodo, declared AbdulRazak reelected on Sunday, after the conclusion of the collation of results from the 16 Local Government Area Councils of the State.
AbdulRazak, who won all the Local Government Area Councils, polled 273,424 votes to defeat his closest rival of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Shuaib Abdullahi., who polled 155,490 votes.
