January 05, (THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced online accreditation for journalists and media organisations wishing to cover the 2023 elections.
INEC has scheduled February 25, for the presidential and National Assembly election, while governorship and States Assembly elections would be conducted March 11, 2023.
The Commission, in a post on its Facebook page on Thursday, asked interested media organisations, who wish to deploy Journalists to cover the election to apply via: https://imap.inecnigeria.org/
According to the INEC, the online registration commences Thursday, 5th January and closes Sunday, 5th February, 2023.
It emphasised that “there shall be manual accreditation.”
