July 11, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actor in the Yoruba movie genre, Adewale Alebiosu, also known as Awo Lojo, has stated that he is not a traditionalist in real life.
The actor made this known in an interview with an online publisher, Femi Oguntayo. He stated that contrary to the wide believe by most of his fans that he is a traditionalist, he is a Christian and he attends church.
According to him, he learnt how to act as a herbalist from his boss, Fatai Adetayo, popularly known as Lalude.
He also engages in a lot of research by consulting traditional worshippers and herbalists to know about incantations and necessary ingredients to use in making traditional medicine.
However, they are all meant to entertain his fans and movie lovers, as he is not a traditionalist.
He was born a Muslim, but later converted to Christianity and he is quite devoted to his God. He just took interest in playing traditional roles in movies.
