I’ll Go Back To Farming If Buhari Picks Tinubu As Successor – Ojudu

March 19, (THEWILL) – Babafemi Ojudu, says he will go back to farming, if President Muhammadu Buhari chooses former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as his presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023.

Ojodu, a Special Adviser on Political Matters to the President, said this during an interview with Chude Jideonwo.

When asked if he would fall in line if President Buhari chooses Tinubu as his candidate, Ojudu said he would never.

Ojudu claimed he can never support or work with someone he does not believe in.

His words: ”Never! I’ll never support it. Write it down, I’ll go back to the farm. If I don’t believe in you, I’ll not work with you or for you.”

Meanwhile, Ojudu had earlier clarified that he would not support Tinubu’s presidential ambition due to his “principled political choice, not betrayal.”

The Ekiti State born former senator and journalist of repute, has openly canvassed support for the rumoured presidential ambition of Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo.

THEWILL reports that Vice-president Osinbajo had yet to declare for the 2023 presidency.
