November 08, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr Eazi, has explained why the public may be oblivious to whether he has tied the nuptial knot with his fiancée, Temi Otedola.
The music star, speaking in a chat with Susan Pwajok, on the podcast, Surviving Lagos, said he was already engaged two weeks before the information hit the public domain.
According to him, celebrities must master the act of navigating their status in the sense that they choose what they want the public to know at every given time.
He argued celebrity life could become highly toxic when too many people are in your business and being a private person, he doesn’t want such for himself or his loved ones.
He said: “I was engaged for two weeks before the world knew I was engaged, so it’s like I could be married right now and you wouldn’t know and maybe I’m just not wearing my ring.
“It’s just how you feel, not everything that should be outside. I think I posted an old picture of my parents out once for their 30th marriage anniversary.
“You know this celebrity life is not healthy and it’s not everything that should be out there.”
