BEVERLY HILLS, August 18, (THEWILL) – American singer and songwriter, Gloria Estefan, says that she always knew Michael Jackson was “doomed”, because his level of fame was “terrible”.
Estefan stated this while speaking to The Mirror, saying that she never knew that the late king of pop would live up to 50 years explaining how the late famous singer died back in 2009 after a cardiac arrest during the run up to his biggest tour ever.
She said: “Michael, poor thing, he was doomed. I never thought he was going to make it to 50.
“God knows he had his problems, but as an artist, no one will top him. Never. But that level of fame is terrible.”
Michael died on June 25, 2009, from propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication at his North Carolwood Drive home in highbrow Holmby Hills, next door to Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. His doctor, Conrad Murray administered the fatal dose.
