How Insecurity Forced Flavour To Move Father’s Burial Ceremony From Anambra To Enugu – Cubana Chief Priest

June 9, (THEWILL)- Nigerian socialite and nightlife entrepreneur, Okechukwu Pascal, aka Cubana Chief Priest, has claimed that highlife singer, Chinedu Okoli, aka Flavour N’abania, moved his father’s burial ceremony from Anambra to Enugu state due to insecurity.

On Saturday, Flavour held the burial ceremony of his father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, who passed on last month at the age of 93.

The singer hosted some of his celebrity colleagues and friends in Enugu State.

Cubana Chief Priest, who attended the event, disclosed that the burial ceremony was supposed to be held in Umunze, Anambra State.

Flavour was born in Enugu but his family is originally from Umunze in Orumba South LGA of Anambra State.

In an Instagram post, Cubana Chief Priest alleged that the insecurity in Anambra led to the shift of the ceremony to Enugu.

He also called on south-easterners to work together to address the issue of insecurity in the region, adding that “we cannot destroy our own because we are being marginalised”.

“This amazing funeral was supposed to be happening in Umunze, Anambara State but here we are in Enugu managing it. Umunne, we need to come together and fix this, it’s no longer interesting. We cannot destroy our own because we are being marginalised. We must uphold our glory by going back to our peaceful nature,” he wrote.

“We can only fight back if home is in order for proper planning. If this continues, that means they have succeeded in disorganizing us. Oga Adicha Mma, Nke Di Na Iru Ka. RIP Papa Ijele Igbo Nile, Papa Muru African Royalty @2niteflavour Ebube Agu Na Eche Agu. Were Okwu M Hapu Omume M.”

Earlier in the week, Cubana Chief Priest revealed that he relocated his business to Lagos from the southeast due to insecurity.
