BEVERLY HILLS, March 14, (THEWILL) – Unknown gunmen on Sunday killed six persons during an attack on a village in Wasinmi area of Ayedire Local Government Area, Osun State.
Osun Police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident, saying all the deceased were members of the same family.

She also said the state Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode, had visited the scene of the incident.
Reports say the gunmen invaded the village and started shooting indiscriminately.
The reasons for the attack was not yet known at the time of filing this report.
