July 08, (THEWILL) – The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Paul Omotosho, has been abducted by gunmen.
THEWILL gathered that Omotosho was kidnapped along the Agbado-Imesi-Ekiti road in Gbonyin Local Government Area of the state on Saturday evening.
APC Publicity Secretary in the State, Segun Dipe confirmed the incident.
“Yes, our chairman has been kidnapped this evening, and we are already working with security agencies towards securing his release”, he said.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Sunday Abutu, is yet to confirm the incident.
