November 04, (THEWILL) – Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have attacked the residence of Apollos Dandaura, the Corps Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad (CG’SSIS) of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and abducted his wife.
The assailants reportedly attacked his residence located in the Gidi-Gidi, Cattle market area of Lafia, Nasarawa State, at about 7 pm on Wednesday.
The NSCDC Spokesperson, Olusola Odumosu, who confirmed the incident, said the gunmen abducted the CG’s wife and shot his brother, ASC1, Ezekiel Dandaura, during the attack.
ASC1 Ezekiel is also a serving personnel of the corps, in Nasarawa State Command.
“He sustained gunshot injuries in the cause of the attack and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital facility”, the spokesman said.
