October 4, (THEWILL) – Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted about five female students of the Federal University, Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) in Katsina State.
The students were abducted in their residence located behind Mariamoh Ajiri Memorial International School at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu, confirmed the incident.
Aliyu, who said some suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident, added that efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims.
