June 14, (THEWILL) – The immediate past Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has resigned from the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
Gbajabiamila, the Member representing Surulere 1 Constituency, Lagos, in the House of Representatives, was recently appointed as Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President.
He resigned on Wednesday, to officially resume duties in the Presidency.
His letter of resignation was presented on the floor of the House and read by the Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas.
