December 25, (THEWILL) – In order to assist the Nigeria eSports Federation’s (NEF) participation in the FIFA-approved FIFAe Nations Cup tournament, GAMR has announced that it has signed an agreement with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

GAMR is an eSports and gaming technology firm with the goal of advancing gaming culture and eSports through the support of competitive tournaments and investments in the upcoming professional players in Nigeria and around Africa.

The FIFAe Nations Cup is the ultimate competition for eSports athletes to represent their nations on a grand scale. Players in this competition must first compete for their nation at the regional level in order to get to the finals, as one of the 24 participating countries.

The inaugural campaign will include a thorough grassroots programme in collaboration with the NEF for the development of player representatives, who will represent the nation in the online qualifiers in April 2023. And, Mr. Clinton Agbor, the NEF’s president, said: “This is a good opportunity for Nigerian FIFA eSports players to showcase their talent, through the FIFAe Nations Cup competition.”

The NEF applauded the NFF and GAMR, adding that their collaboration will benefit Nigerian FIFA esports players by expanding their prospects and fostering cooperation among ecosystem participants as a whole. GAMR has already organised over 300 events and formed relationships with companies like Redbull, Nivea, Nigeria University Games Association, and SociaLiga.
