BEVERLY HILLS, March 12, (THEWILL) – Former Pastor at Omega Fire Ministry, Mike Davids, has apologised to the church founder, Apostle Johnson Suleman, whom he earlier accused of sleeping with his wife, Faith Edeko.
THEWILL had reported that Davids had alleged that Suleman committed adultery with Edeko, who currently is in charge of the ministry in Utako.
Davids also accused Suleman of trying to kill him and denying him access to his three children.
He had filed a N2 billion lawsuit against Suleman for alleged unlawful interference in his marriage.
However, speaking in a now viral-video, Davids apologised to Suleman begging him for forgiveness as he described him as his “father in the Lord.”
Concerning the issue of his adultery claims, the pastor said he went on a “spiritual sojourn” and he received “express instructions” from God to make peace with the clergyman.
According to Davids, aside from God’s directive, the interventions from various church leaders and well-meaning Nigerians who made efforts to settle the matter amicably were also considered.
“In view of what has happened in the past, after embarking on my spiritual sojourn. I received instructions from the Lord to do what I’m about to do now,” he said.
“I want to sincerely apologise to my father in the Lord Apostle Johnson Suleman for accusing him of sleeping with my wife.
“Also, I apologise to Omega Fire Ministries around the world and to Apostle Suleman’s wife for the manner in which I reached out for help. I’m deeply sorry.”
Davids, however, did not make any comment about Edeko whom he accused of committing adultery with Suleman.
