May 25, (THEWILL)- On Friday, Femi Gbajabiamila, President Bola Tinubu’s chief of staff, hosted close friends and family to the 56th birthday celebration of his wife, Salamatu, at their official residence at Aso Drive, Three Arms zone, Abuja.
It will be their very first celebration since he became the Chief of Staff and very unlike his nature to shut down his party venues, he opted for a close knit quiet celebration.
Besides the fact that it wasn’t a landmark birthday, his decision to keep it quiet may not be unconnected to the current political and economic mood of the nation.
Perhaps if the circumstances were right, the former Speaker of the House of Representative would have re-enacted the grand birthday party he threw for his wife’s 50th birthday in 2018 during his time as the majority speaker of the lower chamber.
Gbajabiamila wowed many when he gifted her a brand new pink coloured, rose decorated G-Wagon valued at N38 million.
Hopefully when his wife clocks 60 in four years, the current situation would have ameliorated enough for him to shut down the Federal Capital Territory.
