August 19, (THEWILL) — Popular Nigerian interior designer Ehi Ogbebor has opened up about her relationships, failed marriages and some of the controversies that have followed her personal life.
Ogbebor spoke during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, where she addressed her relationship with Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, as well as claims that she dates married men.
She confirmed that MC Oluomo was the only married man she has ever dated, noting that his Muslim faith permits multiple wives.
“MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. Ayinde as I call him, that’s the only man I would say I dated as a married man, but he’s Muslim. Even bus conductors have 4 wives as Muslims,” she said.
Ogbebor also rejected claims that she deliberately goes after married men or breaks up marriages.
“I don’t snatch people’s husbands, I’m waiting for the wives to come and tell me how I snatched them,” she said.
Ogbebor opens up on domestic abuse
The interior designer also spoke about her two failed marriages, revealing that she experienced severe physical and financial abuse during one of them.
Ogbebor said she married someone she barely knew and described the union as troubled.
“There was a day he beat me so bad I passed out. I woke up, he was pouring olive oil in my mouth,” she recalled.
She also alleged that the abuse continued during her pregnancy, saying her husband pushed her and caused her to fall on her stomach.
Ogbebor further described what she said was financial control during the marriage, recalling how she was given limited money for basic household items despite the family’s financial situation.
She said the experience contributed to her decision to leave the marriage.

She addresses juju allegations
Ogbebor also addressed longstanding claims that she uses juju to attract or keep men.
She dismissed the allegations, saying she had actually fled a marriage because of concerns about juju.
“I ran from marriage because of juju,” she said.
Ogbebor also spoke about the public criticism surrounding her personal life, saying she has chosen not to be distracted by it.
“Whatever they’re doing now, every other thing is background sound. I make enough money, anything that’ll make me happy, I go for it,” she said.
