SAN FRANCISCO, September 07, (THEWILL) – The Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, has warned people of the state against allowing the All Progressives Congress, APC, have its way in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo, saying that the APC had nothing to offer the people of the state.
He stated this on Tuesday at the presentation of cheques to beneficiaries of the CBN/ODSG Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Fund.
According to him, “You should open your eyes wide now. We said it that time, yet people voted for them. See what they are doing to Nigerians in the last one year. We have seen nothing.
“We should not allow APC’s ‘Change’ in Ondo State. I will not say much, but it is what all of us can see in their government. So, there is no way for APC in Ondo State.”
The Governor declared that his administration had done a lot in the area of poverty alleviation and creation of wealth by distributing loans to traders and artisans in the state.
He also disclosed that since inception, his administration had disbursed a sum N1.5bn to traders and artisans as loans in order to boost small and medium scale enterprises in the state.
