August 12, (THEWILL) — Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator, Chukwuebuka Amuzie, popularly known as Brain Jotter, has raised concerns after sharing a video of a tense encounter with suspected agberos while driving in Lagos.
The comedian shared the video on his Instagram page on Tuesday, showing a group of men surrounding his vehicle on a Lagos Road.
The men reportedly blocked his vehicle and demanded money before allowing him to continue his journey.
Brain Jotter captioned the video, “Nigerian zoo keepers are the worst. We lack good wildlife, and they let a lion escape from the zoo. This is sad.”
The incident has drawn attention to allegations of harassment and extortion by street touts in different parts of Lagos.

Brain Jotter’s experience comes amid similar complaints involving other entertainment figures in the state.
Salt the DJ, the younger sister of Afrobeats star, Ayra Starr, recently alleged that suspected area boys damaged her car after mistaking her for the singer and became aggressive when she refused to give them money.
Filmmaker TG Omori has also spoken about alleged harassment and extortion by street touts while carrying out work in Lagos. The incidents have raised concerns among members of the creative industry about the challenges of working in public spaces.
In April, actress Bimbo Ademoye also confronted a group of area boys who disrupted her outdoor movie shoot and allegedly demanded money before filming could continue.
She refused to pay and challenged the men over what she described as an attempt to force her to give them money.
The reports highlight a wider problem faced by motorists, filmmakers and other residents who encounter suspected street touts in different parts of Lagos.
Lagos State officials have previously spoken about efforts to remove street urchins from the streets, while warning that regular cash handouts can encourage their activities.
