January 19, (THEWILL) -On Saturday January 15th, a movie on Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, Yahaya The White Lion, premiered to a carefully selected audience at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The movie written and produced by Seun Oloketuyi, filmmaker and convener of Best of Nollywood, BON, awards, chronicles the life and achievements of the 46 year old governor.
According to Seun, principal photography for the movie kicked off in the third week of September 2021 in different locations around Kogi State including Lokoja and Lagos State before the actual shooting of the movie.
The movie boasts of a stellar cast made up of Kannywood actor, Ali Nuhu who played Yahaya Bello, Roseanne Chikwendu as Rashidat Bello, the Kogi State First Lady, comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka, Aisha Lawal and a host of others. It was directed by ace movie director, Tunde Laoye.
