December 17, (THEWILL) – At least four farmers have been confirmed killed and eight others abducted by bandits who attacked Nahuta village in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State on Saturday.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, said the farmers were harvesting their crops when the assailants struck.
“The suspected bandits attacked the farmers, and opened fire on them thereby killing four and injuring one; they also abducted eight others”, Aliyu said.
