April 22, (THEWILL) — Self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, returned to Instagram on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, weeks after deactivating her account amid backlash over her claim of battling stage four breast cancer.

A check of her page shows that she has deleted all posts related to the claim.

The controversy began earlier this year when she announced the diagnosis and asked the public for financial support.

Doubts later emerged after a medical report she shared was said to belong to another patient, Deborah Mbara.

The Nigerian Medical Association also disowned the report, describing it as a manipulated version of an existing medical record.

Mbara, a makeup artist and cancer survivor, later alleged that the influencer used her medical report without consent.

Following the development, Mbara’s family filed a petition with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, accusing Blessing CEO of forgery, cyberbullying and running a fraudulent fundraising scheme. The petition claimed that over ₦300 million may have been raised under false pretences.

Authorities have since confirmed that both the EFCC and police are reviewing the allegations.

The influencer had earlier admitted there was a “miscommunication” regarding her stage four cancer claim, while maintaining that she received about ₦13 million in donations.

She has yet to publicly address the latest developments following her return to social media.
