December 02, (THEWILL) – Singer Baba Fryo has reacted to the cash gift donated by Warri-based Prophet Fufeyin to ailing Nollywood actor, Clem Ohameze.
THEWILL recalls that Baba Fryo had earlier slammed popular singer, Davido, for donating the sum of N250 Million to charity.
The popular music artiste took to the social media once again to clarify his statement on Davido’s gesture, saying that he hates the fact that rich people flaunt their wealth on social media while the less privileged are dying.
He wrote: “This is part of what I was trying to say. Nobody is above challenges even billionaires face challenges, the hatred and fake love in the entertainment industry is unspeakable.
“All entertainers should come together as one, the DJs, MCs, comedians, actors, musicians, footballers, wrestlers, boxers, print media, electronic media and so on. Nobody is above challenges and life has no balance.
“I was born and brought up in the ghetto. I have seen many people suffer. Some people cannot afford a decent meal every day. This does not mean that they’re not hard working. It is just that they are facing serious challenges.
“I prefer those who give without letting others know about it. If you want others to know, make it visible like the pastor who just gave a Nollywood actor N8 million. What I hate most is people flaunting wealth on social media while their brothers and colleagues are dying.”
