October 5, (THEWILL) – Ahmed ‘Asake‘ Ololade, the Afrobeats rave of the moment, says he is working to have a bigger venue for his United Kingdom tour after some fans couldn’t get tickets.

Asake is scheduled to perform at the 4,921 capacity prestigious O2 Academy Brixton in London in December.

The concert is part of his forthcoming tour for ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’, his debut album, in the UK.

The singer, who is currently on tour in the United States, recently sold out the venue in five minutes.

But in a Twitter post on Tuesday, the ‘Joha’ crooner revealed that some fans are yet to get tickets despite selling out tickets for three dates.

He apologised for “underestimating” their love and also promised a show in a bigger venue.

Asake said the date for the show will be announced as soon as possible while appreciating “my UK terminators”.

“Big thanks to my UK terminators for all the love and support. I must confess it’s beyond my wildest imagination, I am so sorry for underestimating your love for me,” he wrote.

“I know three days are already sold out in London but not enough. I have received so many messages and complaints from people that couldn’t get tickets. Therefore, I will be doing a bigger venue as soon as possible to make it up to you all. The date is to be announced soon.

“Day1, day2, day3 and a new date will be added with a bigger venue.”

During his US tour, Asake performed on stage with a goat.

Asake has continued to enjoy massive reception since he came into the limelight.

Upon the release of his debut album, all 12 songs occupied the top spots on Apple Music’s top 100 chart in Nigeria.
