SAN FRANCISCO, June 18, (THEWILL) – Danny Masterson, the popular actor of “That 70s Show” has been charged with raping three women.
According to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office, the rape charges against the actor were for separate incidents in 2001 and 2003.
The District Attorney’s Office also stated in a statement that it had refused to file sexual assault charges against the actor in two other cases due to insufficient evidence and also because of the statute of limitations.
However, Masterson has since reacted to this as his lawyer, Tom Mesereau, in a statement vowed to fight the charges.
The statement said: “Mr Masterson is innocent, and we’re confident that he will be exonerated when all the evidence finally comes to light and witnesses have the opportunity to testify.
“The people who know Mr Masterson know his character and know the allegations to be false.”

THEWILL reports that Masterson got his break-out role in the 1998-2006 television comedy series “That 70s Show,” where he played a rebel adolescent.
