November 24, (THEWILL) – Former governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, has been named the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council in Cross River State.
This follows the conclusion of arrangements to inaugurate the campaign council.
The Campaign Council is made up of 1,080 members, with 18 sub-committees.

Donald Duke will serve as Chairman, while a former deputy governor of the State, Efiok Cobham, will serve as Director-General.
The campaign structure has Ekpo Ada Esq, Ntufam Gabe Orji and Hon. Mom Olom, as Southern, Central and Northern senatorial districts coordinators respectively.
Venatius Ikem Esq, said the members would be inaugurated on Friday, November 25, 2022, in Calabar.
Ikem enjoined the members, who would work in the various directorates of the Campaign organisation, to be prepared to work assiduously towards reclaiming the state.
“I congratulate all members of the council for meriting the onerous task of reclaiming Cross River State from the abyss”, he said.
The inauguration of the campaign council will be proceeding with ward-to-ward campaigns.
