2023: Atiku Will Restore Unity In Nigeria – Caleb Mutfwang

January 25, (THEWILL) – The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has urged the people of the State to vote for Atiku Abubakar, as the only candidate who can bring back security, prosperity, and also restore unity in the country.

Speaking at a town hall meeting with the stakeholders of Jos North local government area of the State, Mutfwang told the electorate to vote massively for the PDP in all positions in the forthcoming elections so as to return the country, especially the national economy to the path of recovery and progress.

He said of all the presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP is the only one with the national acceptability and presence with a huge prospect to score the statutory twenty five percent of votes in the thirty six states and the FCT to win the presidential election.

Barr. Mutfwang, who earlier visited the Gwom Kabong, Da. Justice Sha, the Ujah of Anaguta, Pozoh Johnson Jauro Magaji, commended the people for the confidence they have reposed in the PDP thus far, and promised that if voted into power, the PDP administration will be all-inclusive and responsive to the yearnings of the people.

He said, “The Peoples Democratic Party has presented credible and competent candidates for the 2023 elections from the presidential to the State House of Assembly, and this will translate into a popular government that would be driven by competence and merit.

He assured that “I want to give a commitment that Atiku is coming to unify Nigeria. I, therefore, want to advocate that in your houses and anywhere you are, preach the gospel of PDP from top to bottom.

“I stand before you to say that I have only one agenda: that I will make Plateau peaceful, (and) we will secure Plateau people and make them productive to become economically self reliant.

“Plateau is in its nadir as the most backward state in Nigeria”, adding that “we are indebted to about N200 billion today. We need somebody that will come to take the State out of the current poverty, huge debt profile, and unite the people for the development of the state.

“I pledge before you that If I am elected, I don’t have any other agenda than to work for the progress of Plateau. I want you to trust me: there will be improvement in the state if we vote PDP to power.”

Mutfwang assured the people that he will be a Governor of Plateau, who will be fair and give justice to all citizens of Plateau State.

He promised that his administration will revamp the Agricultural Services Training Center (ASTC) and the Plateau Agricultural Development Programme (PADP) to create self-sustaining agricultural growth in the State.

To boost security, he pledged that his government will empower hunters and vigilante groups and equip the state security outfit, Operation Rainbow, for the purpose of protecting local people in the rural communities.
