Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has appointed a former Super Eagles Captain, Joseph Yobo as a Senior Special Assistant on Sports Development to the Governor.
The governor has also appointed Mr. Chibuzor Aholu as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Financial Matters.
A statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, noted that both appointments take immediate effect.
Yobo recently had his testimonial match in Port-Harcourt which featured ex Super Eagles international, Austin Jay Jay Okocha and Cameroonian, Samuel Eto’o.
