August 16, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress, Ronke Ojo-Anthony, better known as Ronke Oshodi, has stated her reason for embarking on an incredible weight loss journey a few years ago.
The actress got her fans worried a few years ago after pictures of her looking so slim surfaced online.
Many insinuated that she was suffering from a major ailment, while others begged her to take care of her health.
However, in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the movie maker revealed that she was following her doctor’s advice at that time.
She added that her doctor advised her to drop some weight and she had to act on the doctor’s instruction.
The actress took some weight loss products, which helped her reduce her weight from 110kg to 87kg.
“Yes I took some weight loss pills. At first, people said I was sick. I was not sick. I’m very strong, I’m very strong and healthy. I went to the UK sometime ago, I have a doctor there, and the doctor said ‘lose weight’. It was my doctor who said I should lose weight.
“I was 110kg then, he said I should lose weight to about 75kg. I was like ‘eleyi po ke’. But he said I should lose weight. So later on, I was just doing my thing but I started having some health challenges like high blood pressure and stuffs like that. So I just said, ok, let me start doing this thing.
“I wasn’t playing o! I was taking ‘Speedy Weightloss’ at the beginning. I was too thin. I think then, I was around 82kg from 110kg. So I switched off to ‘fat surrender’. That is what I take now. Now, I’m between 86kg and 87kg.
“It’s not a scam o! It does work but you have to know how to use it. Because if you use it too much, it may affect your liver. That is why if anybody wants to use it, I will tell them, ‘if you want to buy, you have to eat’. It is very very important to eat. You have to eat because of strength. If they listen to my advice, it will surely work for them”, she added.
