December 07, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has revealed why he rejected his colleague, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido’s offer to fund the video shoot for his hit track, ‘Legbegbe’.
In the latest episode of the Terms and Conditions podcast, Mr Real revealed he declined the offer due to fabricated stories about him by another colleague, Jimoh Idowu Wasiu, better known as Idowest, within Davido’s crew, 30BG.
He said: “This guy, Idowest, had gone to 30BG and said things that I didn’t say. Do you know how I found out? When I was looking for funds to shoot the ‘Legbegbe’ video, Idowest and Obadice came and told me that Davido wanted to shoot the video for us.
“But I said I don’t want anyone to shoot the video for me. The reason why was because I had already seen the green snake and everything he was doing.
“On a norm, how can I reject Davido’s offer to shoot my video? But as a soji guy, I realised that they want to run me street already; una wan come complete am with the video thing, wey be say na only one scene I go show.”
