October 12, (THEWILL) – Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Oga Sabinus, recently made a mark by shaving off his dreadlocks. The skit maker and content creator, who gained fame for his unique style, revealed the reason behind this bold move.
In a conversation with the media, Oga Sabinus shared that the decision to part ways with his distinctive dreadlocks was driven by a need for change. Contrary to assumptions, the hair, initially grown for branding purposes, had transformed into a burden for the entertainer. Oga Sabinus said the need to shed not just his hair but also any constraints that might have accompanied it.
“I cut my dreadlocks because it affects my thinking sometimes. It was as if I was carrying a load on my head. So, I decided to shave,” he said.
He said he started his journey with low-cut and the dreads were for branding purposes but he’s back to his low-cut to receive fresh ideas again.
